Protocol for usage of KSE 563

Be warned that you must stay off the slope
at the back of the green screen as it cannot
support weight and will break!

GENERAL USAGE
1. The room HAS to be left in good condition, has to be clean and neat; if you
enter KSE 563 and it is messy and untidy please notify Steve asap (swetzel@uwm.edu)

2. Do not leave stuff in 563, no props -- nothing -- can be left and stored in the space

3. The footwear of talent must be washed in the bathroom near 563, and any marks left
by talent need to be lightly washed with water

4. All technical folks (camera, lights, etc.) must use the provided footies so as to NOT scuff and
otherwise mark the floor

5. Any tape used on the wall of the green screen room must be non-caustic, painter's tape

6. Upon exiting the room after a reservation, please lock the door and replace the key into the lock
box (CHECK THE DOOR, jiggle it; is it locked?)



LIGHTS

1. There are overhead lights; these need to be turned on with the slider board
to the left of the entrance, on the wall; slide all sliders UP

2. Additionally we have a permanent light kit for the room that supplements the overhead
lights by providing greater and more even luminance to the wall (for cleaner keying) and talent

3. Upon leaving the room, turn off ALL lights

This room is a great resource and should be treated with the utmost respect; any individual
NOT respecting the room, leaving it in bad shape for others, leaving it unlocked, marking it up,
and so on and so forth, will be denied access to the room. This is a shared resource and so we
need to be mindful and respectful, right?
